As to whether it's an ideal teacher? Each person can thrust a long list of criteria for answering this question. List that you want can be a reference to the various reference-material readiness, how to treat students, behavior, etc.-which may be different for each person.
But, rather than giddy up a wide range of criteria, why do not we just ask the kids about the good teachers they think? EENET Asia ran a report about the ideal teacher in the eyes of children in China and Pakistan, but presumably also apply universally.
Consider some of the comments children in China.
The teacher Gao like mothers to me.
* He hears all our problems and complaints and help us solve the problem.
Professor Shan is always funny in class to write us and made us very interested in that subject.
* Without my knowing it, I became very fond of writing and gradually, I learned a few tricks to write well.
 He treats every student equally.
* The goodness of his heart, he was never impartial. As a student, this is the most valuable thing about the teacher ... In the classroom teacher Chen, we feel relaxed and alive (excited). He was always "accidentally" ask a question or make a mistake so we can fix it. If we say something wrong, do not blame us. He would even say with a smile: "Good Error! Mistakes help us find the problems ". Not very long, even the most timid student raised his hand and answered his question.
Children in Pakistan argue about good teachers:
Our teachers know the name of each child.
* He explains on the board.
* If someone does not understand, he will mendudukan boy next door and explains again.
He respects the children, he always called them 'aap'.
* (Aap is a polite form of 'you' in Pakistan)
Our teacher always pay attention to each child while teaching.
*The last paragraph of the article seems striking and illustrates clearly how should an ideal teacher:

A good teacher is basically a good man. They have loving personalities, good, warm, patient, decisive, flexible in behavior, hard-working and committed to their job. Center of their attention is not on the text book or curriculum, but in children! They are very aware of the diversity of ways children learn, the differences between the children and the importance of diverse methods to encourage pupils to learn. Children who learn with a teacher like that do not need to spend extra money to take lessons after school.
